The nice thing about investing in some off-camera lighting gear, is that now I can take portraits at any time of day, and at any location.  And my new favorite is night photography!  I love being able to create dramatic lighting for an edgier finished product.  Now obviously shooting at night isn’t a great option for small children, but the dramatic lighting is perfect for a senior session, engagement session, or wedding!  And what better place to take the lighting gear for a spin than Portland’s Eastbank Esplanade!  For those of you who have never been to the Eastbank Esplanade, you can read more HERE about this amazing waterfront trail that has amazing views of the Portland cityscape!
