I was so excited to photograph Tara & Josh’s wedding. I had an opportunity to get to know them during their engagement session, and they are really the sweetest couple ever. This was truly a “Pacific Northwest wedding” as they are from Oregon, but their wedding was up in Bremerton, Washington. The problem with shooting on the Olympic Peninsula is that the weather can be really erratic. Thankfully, they had the most beautiful day… not too hot, not too cold, overcast, but NO rain! I started out with the ladies as they got ready at their hotel.
Then it was off to Evergreen Rotary Park for the first look, wedding party photos, and family pictures. I love the photos of Tara and Josh down on the dock overlooking Puget Sound. It really gives you that “Pacific Northwest wedding” feel!
Then we headed over to Sylvan Way Baptist Church for the ceremony and reception. I loved seeing how their faith played such an integral part in their day. It is obvious that they have a wonderful foundation for their marriage!
Thanks Josh and Tara for choosing me to capture these memories for you! It was such an honor to be a part of your wedding day! May you have a beautiful life together!
