I was SO excited to shoot this session!  As a Portland senior photographer, there’s not much that yells PDX like cloudy skies, a view of the river, and a hip young guy in cool clothes!  And this guy has style… to the point that I looked for a cardigan like this for my son for Christmas.  We shot down around OMSI and the waterfront, and even braved an area covered with cool graffiti that was crawling with transients.  Hey… it’s worth it for a cool photo.

I also love that his mother and step-dad got in on the photos.  This is mom’s only child, and it’s pretty obvious that they have a very special relationship.  And I gotta tell you that they did a great job forming him into a smart, kind young man.  This is a guy that is going to do something wonderful with his life… that is for sure.

As a Portland senior photographer, it is really special to be able to capture this season in a family.  Changes.  Growth.  New adventures.  I can’t wait to see where life takes this young man!
