Ruth and TJ’s wedding at Anderson Lodge

Ruth and TJ got married in at the Hilltop House at Anderson Lodge and I got to be there to capture their day!  When I first met with them, Ruth told me that she really just wanted a fun weekend with her friends and family, with a wedding ceremony thrown in there.  And I loved that the day was exactly that… a celebration of their relationships with friends and family with a wedding on the side.  When you are getting married in the Pacific Northwest in February, you can never rely on the weather as being ideal.  But these two got lucky because the weather was cool but dry!  To be honest they bought their own sunshine, because everything was decorated in a rainbow of color!

Ruth and TJ also win the award for the most fun wedding attire.  They are seriously joy-filled people, and their duds were the perfect reflection of that!  And check out their cool matching custom wedding rings!

Even their friends and family embraced the colorful theme of the day, which made for such fun family photos!

Their ceremony was really special.  I loved that they included their parents in it, and it was so great to hear their reflections on marriage.  And their self-written vows were FABULOUS… sincere and funny and real and heart-felt.

Their reception was filled with amazing food, kids with balloons, and dancing.  A perfect end to a perfect day.  Congratulations to you both, Ruth and TJ!
