Have Camera… Will Travel. Beaverton Photographer hits the Oregon Coast.

I love being a Beaverton photographer.  There’s so many great places to shoot around here, with locales ranging from trails in the forest to grassy hills to heritage buildings to graffiti walls.  But any time I have the opportunity to shoot on the beautiful Oregon Coast… I’m THERE!  So when one of our close friends decided to include a family session while they vacationed with us at Gold Beach, how could I say “no”?  I’m not above mixing business and pleasure.  The weather was beautiful but SUPER windy.  Thankfully that didn’t phase this family!

Their two little girls are twins and are absolutely awesome little people.  They are smart and creative and lively and responsible and caring.  It is a total reflection on the amazing Mom and Dad they were blessed with.  I love this series of images of one daughter.  I had asked her to stand with her arms crossed and she said she didn’t want to do that because it would make her look “sassy”.  So I asked her what she’d like to do instead and she said “DANCE”!

The fun thing about these girls is that they are best friends too.  Not all twins can say that (trust me… I have a set).  But these two have each other’s back… and it’s lovely!

We were also blessed by a visit from their grandparents during our session.  Grandpa just happens to be a photographer in his own right, and he specializes in wildlife photographer around the Gold Beach area.  So I wasn’t shy about having him hold my reflector for me.  So of course I had to get them in front of my camera too!

Thanks to this awesome family for the fabulous vacation, the friendship, and the fun evening of photos.  Miss you guys and hope we can do it all over again next year!
